FAQs

How often will my lawn get mowed?

At ReedMow, we offer flexible lawn mowing schedules designed to fit the specific needs of your property. You can choose between weekly lawn mowing services or biweekly mowing, depending on the growth rate of your grass, your preferences, and the season. Our goal is to maintain a consistent mowing schedule that keeps your lawn looking sharp and well-kept all year round.

What day will my lawn be mowed?

Your mowing day will depend on your location and the mowing frequency you select during sign-up. Once we receive your service request and confirm your mowing agreement, we’ll assign a regular mowing day that fits your neighborhood route. We stick to consistent schedules so you always know when your lawn maintenance service is happening.

My grass is overgrown, will I pay more for that?

In most cases, overgrown lawns do not result in extra charges. We understand that life gets in the way, vacations, weather delays, or new clients signing up late in the season. If you’re signing up for recurring lawn mowing service, especially a long-term agreement, the first mow is part of the deal. We’re not in the business of nickel-and-diming people for tall grass. Unless your lawn is a full-on jungle, expect us to handle it without any surprise fees.

I have pets in the backyard, what should I do?

We ask all clients to keep pets indoors or securely leashed during scheduled lawn care service visits. This prevents accidental escapes and keeps both your animals and our crew safe. If you’d like a courtesy reminder before we arrive, just send us a quick message via text, email, or call. We’re happy to give you a heads-up on mow days.

I am not always home. How will I know the grass has been cut?

You don’t have to be home for us to take care of your lawn. Every job we do is documented with before-and-after photos, which are timestamped, dated, and uploaded to our CRM system. If you’d like us to send the photos directly after each mow for your records or peace of mind, just let us know. Transparency is a key part of how we operate.

Why are you reluctant trim near the house?

Trimming near the home, especially around windows, fences, or stone landscaping can occasionally result in property damage from flying debris. To reduce liability and protect your property, we’re cautious when it comes to hedge trimming near structures. If you specifically request it, we’ll gladly do the trimming, but we’ll proceed carefully.
