FAQs

SERVICE BASICS

  • It’s a simple plan that keeps your yard looking good all the time. Each visit includes mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing off driveways and walkways. We’ll also clean up to three full bags of leaves at no extra cost. It’s made for homeowners who just want steady, reliable lawn care. No calls, no constant scheduling.

  • You don’t have to be home for us to take care of your lawn. Every job we do is documented with after photos, which are timestamped, dated, and uploaded to our system. If you’d like us to send the photos directly after each mow for your records or peace of mind, just let us know.

  • Your mowing day depends on your location and the mowing frequency you select during sign-up. Once we receive your service request and confirm your mowing agreement, we’ll assign a regular mowing day that fits your neighborhood route. We stick to consistent schedules so you always know when your lawn is being serviced.

  • You can choose weekly or biweekly mowing, depending on how fast your grass grows, your preferences, and the season. Our goal is to maintain a consistent schedule that keeps your lawn looking sharp all year long.

  • We ask all clients to keep pets indoors or securely leashed during scheduled lawn care visits. This prevents accidental escapes and keeps both your animals and our crew safe. If you’d like a courtesy reminder before we arrive, just let us know. We’re happy to send a heads-up.

  • Yes. We offer ad-on services to all recurring customers. These services include, tree trimming, bush trimming, mulch and sod install. You can get more insight on this here. → Services Page

  • Once all info on the form is processed, you’ll get confirmation by whatever you selected on the form. This confirmation will tell you exactly what day we will arrive and roughly what time.

PRICING & PAYMENTS

  • $50 per visit. That covers mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, and up to three full bags of leaf cleanup. We’re only accepting weekly and biweekly customers at this time.

  • After the work is complete, payment is made online with the payment processor Squarespace Payments. Notification goes the email you provide on the schedule form.

  • Late fees apply for recurring mows and additional services. Payments made more than 2 weeks after the service will have an additional $10 fee per service labeled “Late Fee” on your invoice. This has no effect on service done before December 3.

  • If you are less than 2 weeks behind on payment, then yes we will still come out. However:

    • Further service on the property such as bush trim, tree trim, mulch and sod installation will be paused until the full balance has been received and processed.

    • Seasonal special offers and free addon benefits are paused until the full balance has been received and processed.

    • After the 2 weeks of no payment being received, your service will be paused indefinitely until the full outstanding balance has been paid.

  • We don’t have any customers on contract. We do have service agreements that we send out to all customers that pay monthly. This serves as an explanation of service and is not a contract.

  • Yes. If we miss a scheduled mow and can't get to it within a reasonable time frame, we’ll issue a full refund or apply a credit to your account, whichever you prefer. You won’t be charged for visits we don’t complete, and there’s no need to chase us down. We handle it automatically.

  • In most cases, no. We get that life happens. Vacations, delays, or signing up late in the season. If you're joining a recurring plan, the first mow is part of the deal. Unless your lawn is an actual jungle, we’ll handle it with no surprise fees.

  • If your payment is late and you don’t contact us, your service is paused until the balance is cleared or we hear from you. We understand life happens. Just let us know. But, if we don’t hear anything and the invoice goes unpaid, a late fee may apply, and you risk losing your spot on the schedule. We stay flexible when people communicate.

  • We currently only offer leaf cleanup as part of our recurring weekly or biweekly mowing service. If you're on a plan, you’ll get leaf cleanup as part of each visit with up to three bags. For now, we don’t offer one-off seasonal or single cleanups.

  • On rare instances, yes. But generally, on a recurring schedule most customers won’t need one. All of our routes are planned in advance to keep things efficient and on schedule. This may come with an increased fee, but that can be waived by speaking to us directly, so we understand what’s going on.

HOW WE WORK

  • Estimates aren’t necessary and no one actually wants to deal with them. It is an indicator of inefficiency. Or worse, opportunistic overpricing. Pricing here is based on lot size, and time to completion, not home value.

  • Yes. That’s the job. How we work starts from the founder and trickles down. Here, our founder has a perfect attendance record. From preschool to high school, not a single day was missed. If we say we’ll be there, we’re there. No ghosting. No “reschedules.” No Thursday turning into next Tuesday. We show up.

  • Us. It’s always us. We don’t subcontract your lawn out to random people. The same folks who built this business are the ones cutting your grass. We take pride in the work, because it’s our name on it.

  • Usually within a few days. Sometimes same week, depending on the route and the season. The form on our site sends your info directly to us. No middleman, no delay. If we can fit you in, we will.

  • Sometimes. Depends on the job. If it’s overgrown but not out of control, we can probably help. We don’t do full-scale jungle taming, but we’ll always be honest about what we can take on. Just reach out and ask.

ABOUT THE BUSINESS

  • ReedMow began as a business on July 5, 2025. At the time the service offering was slim. As of December 2025, ReedMow now offers the full standard lawn care service of mowing, blowing, and trimming, an with additional option for bush and tree trim, and mulch and sod installation.

  • The equipment being used are push mowers, backpack blowers, hedge clippers, pole saws, a hedge trimmer, and rakes.

  • There are plans to expand in the distant future, however, the focus now is tightening route density for the two cities that we currently service, which are Sugar Land and Missouri City.
